New Shougang Bridge

New Shougang Bridge is a fully steel-structured twin-tower cable-stayed steel bridge with large scale (43,000 tons of steel), complex structural form, complex joint structure, and high precision requirements for processing and fabrication. The project applied 4DBIM to realize 4D integrated management, real-time control and dynamic simulation of BIM-based construction schedule, resources and equipment, safety and quality, security and monitoring, site and facilities. Through the linkage of WeChat, PC and web terminals, based on IFC standard 4D-BIM model, the 3D model of the building and its construction site is linked with the construction schedule, and integrated with information such as construction personnel, resources, safety quality and site layout. It realizes 4D dynamic integrated management based on BIM and network, providing scientific and effective management means for improving construction level and ensuring project quality.

China's first highway-railway cable-stayed bridge and the world's first high-speed railway cable-stayed bridge. With 4DBIM cloud platform as the core, through project collaborative management, multi-source information association integration, combined with IoT, wireless transmission, image recognition and other technical means, it carries out multi-participant, cross-platform three-terminal unified application, realizing integrated dynamic visual management of schedule, quality, safety, 3D technical disclosure, steel beam informatization, etc., providing informatization and intelligent services for long-span railway bridge construction and operation.

The world's first application of double-limb steel tube truss arch rib form: In the field of high-speed railway, the main span of 292m asymmetric deck-type concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge ranks first in the world among bridges of the same type. Based on the 4DBIM platform, the project carried out comprehensive BIM applications, including preliminary applications in collision detection, paperless office, multi-terminal collaborative work, inventory material management, etc., and innovative applications in 3D digital delivery, cross-departmental material management, dynamic schedule management, multi-scale construction simulation, multi-dimensional safety management, etc. A complete BIM application solution for large bridges has been summarized to provide experience guidance for subsequent BIM promotion.
